I'm in love with Project H

Project H is a non-profit design group that designs products for the other 90% of the world that doesn't have the basic necessities. I-pods are great, but there has to more to the world of design than the next cool gadget. This is the kind of design that makes me remember why I got into industrial design. :-)

We are a team of designers and builders engaging locally to improve the quality of life for the socially overlooked. Our five-tenet design process (There is no design without (critical) action; We design WITH, not FOR; We document, share and measure; We start locally and scale globally, We design systems, not stuff) results in simple and effective design solutions for those without access to creative capital.

WE BELIEVE DESIGN CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

Their most famous project is the Hippo Roller for transporting water... So simple and so necessary!
